no internet in slackware 9.1..

Okay.. I installed Slackware 9.1 a few days ago.. everything runs great except I can't get any kind of network setup, or no internet connection.

I've run 'netconfig' and set up everything, aswell as probed for my ethernet card (which was found) but nothing still works.. I use DHCP. I've ran in KDE and Blackbox w/ no luck if that means anything.. I've searched googles for anything related but couldn't really find much on it. Any of you have any ideas?

A little more info is required. How is the network configured? What type of network and how do connect to the internet? DSL, cable, local LAN, router?

Is an IP address being assigned?
/sbin/ifconfig
