NICs do not start on reboot


Somehow my 2 NICs do not start when I boot my PC. I need set up IP's and routes manualy each time I boot PC. Debian OS installed

#cat /etc/network/interfaces

# and how to activate them. For more information, see interfaces(5).

# The loopback network interface
auto lo
iface lo inet loopback


iface eth0 inet static
address 172.16.5.1
netmask 255.255.255.0




iface eth1 inet static
address 172.16.2.25
netmask 255.255.255.0
gateway 172.16.2.1
up route add -net 172.16.3.0 netmask 255.255.255.0 gw 172.16.2.1
down route del -net 172.16.3.0 netmask 255.255.255.0 gw 172.16.2.1

Try changing that:
