nfs problem on fedora 3


sir
i got a serious problem with nfs and nis . actually it was working fine but after rebooting the system .one day it started giving problem
i am using fedora 3

my configuration
server
/etc/exports
/kv/home 192.168.10.0/255.255.255.0(rw,sync)

/kv/home is link to /home
client side
/etc/fstab
192.168.10.1:/kv/home /kv/home nfs defaults 0 0

it allow me to login but cant find my menu at desktop , i tried deleting .gconf file from home directory, but problem remains as it is.
when i reboot it give
error like

/unable to umount /tmp system busy
unable to umount /var system busy

I Have the same issue, but on Conectiva 8!

Same issue with mounting nfs remote directories, notice that you can't either run or use config files from mounted directories!
