Distro is OpenSUSE LEAP 42.1.
I'm trying to create a L2TP connection in NetworkManager so I installed plasma-nm5-l2tp package which created the L2TP entry under Connection -> Add -> VPN in NetworkManager.
I configured the necessary parameters, but when I try to connect I get:
The VPN Service 'org.freedesktop.NetworkManager.l2tp' was not installed.
I also tried installing xl2tpd which didn't help.
Has anyone managed to L2TP working on OpenSUSE?
Thanks!
OpenSuSE 13 or 12 support to configure L2TP over IPSec through NetworkManager. For LEAP 42.1, you need install openswan and then configure them manually.
