I have an HP Pavilion 8882 running Windows2000 and a Laptop Compaq Armada 1750 with a docking station running Redhat 8.0.
I would like to connect the two systems with a cross-over cable (?) without using a router. The purpose is to use the disks and the printeres connected to the HP.
