network missing commands

Good morning:

I'm on dial up, i can do 'ping' and 'netstat' from xterm, but when i do 'ifconfig' or 'traceroute' i got a 'command not found' message, i've typed 'which' to find the route to those apps without success. Do they have to be installed apart? (i've searched in the mdk 9.1 installation cds without luck) or they're not available for dial up connections?? (it would be wierd)

Thanks in advance

You will need to provide the full path

/sbin/ifconfig and
/usr/bin/traceroute

Thanks ppuru, it worked!! but now i want to set 'ifconfig' and 'traceroute' as global commands, in order to call them from any path i'm in, could this be possible??
