Technically, yes you can do it that way, and it does make sense now. Just use it through a VPN, and use the routing configuration to your advantage.
Okay cool. Thanks for the help. I was trying to get a movie in as I posted. I went back and read what I typed and it's embarrassing now lol. The iPhone us cool but it's not great for everything.

Try an Android one, more OpenSource like Lot's of great features, in my book beats the iPhone hands down.
Thanks all for helping clarify all this. What about comparing 172.16.xx to 10.0.0.1? I read a little about what each class is sorta set aside for but, does it really matter what set you go with as long as you use private IP's so that they are not accessible from the public internet? Seems other wise they are mainly just numbers.
