Lightbulb net view


Hi
I am new for linux. I want to know is there any option for following commands in linux.


Windows Linux
net view ?
net send ?

try #man net view and #man wall

hi gautam,

you need samba package to do all that.
for net view --> smbtree
net send --> smbclient

i dont remember the rest of the switch, but --help would do.

so what about wall cmd will the message be delivered to all the clients ?..never used.
