nessus help.


[root@localhost student]# nessus
nessus nessus-check-signature nessus-mkcert nessus-rmuser
nessus-adduser nessus-config nessus-mkcert-client nessus-update-plugins
nessus-build nessus-fetch nessus-mkrand nessusd
[root@localhost student]# nessus

Ooops ...
This nessus version has no gui support. You need to give nessus the
arguments SERVER PORT LOGIN TRG RESULT as explained in more detail
using the --help option.
[root@localhost student]#

can u pls tell me how to query with nessus to list all the system running in my subnet.
like #nmap -sP 10.255.240.*

And how to get a details that what are the open ports in a linux running system?

i have the following command

[root@localhost Documents]# nessus
nessus nessus-check-signature nessus-fetch nessus-mkrand
nessus-adduser nessus-config nessus-mkcert nessus-rmuser
nessus-build nessusd nessus-mkcert-client nessus-update-plugins
[root@localhost Documents]# nessus

i have not insalled gtk-2.0.So that i do not have GUI mode now.
I am working with command only.

Can u pls tell me the syntex of the command to query the system for the open ports?
