Need for Speed of NFS
I am trying to setup /usr to be mounted to a client from a server. When I try this out, I have access to all my apps but the time to start them is extremely slow. Now, I realize I should expect a slow down as compared to having them located locally, but this seems really slow. Is there any configurations that I can adjust to increase the speed?
