i'm trying to ncftpput to a remote host but was rejected.
(error msg: connection refused by remote host.)
i believe its because the remote host has only the ssh port open, and by default ncftp is using port 21,am i right?
btw, i can't change the firewall settings of the remote host.
i actually tried to use the -P 115(sftp) and -P 22(ssh) option, not working tho'
, is there another possible solution to this?
how about scp? i heard a bit about this being suggested in other threads. can scp run on (cron) script? i dont want to be prompted for passwd on every connection.
