Now my question is regarding skype calling . Since skype uses port 80 ,does it mean that it passes its request via proxy or direct and for safe side ive changed skype incoming port to 443 which squid does not see it. How much and width bdoes skype use for calling in that case . Some one told me that it using squid to pass its request which I dont agree . Hope you guys have good idea , what should be done.

1. No one knows what the Skype protocol is. No one knows what their QoS is like.
2. run a bandwidth monitor on the gateway with a call in progress to get an idea of what Skype is doing.
That's about as far as anyone can go, unless you know a dev at Skype.
