I had a network in which a machine had been decleared as the secondary DNS. I have subneted my network and changed the IP of the machine and given a new IP to the machine(i have'nt configured secondary DNS now and the previous IP is now a broadcast of another network) and made the corresponding change in my Primary DNS. When I am quering my nameserver from within my network it is showing the correct IP but when i am quering it from other nameserver outside of my network it shows the previous IP. I am relattively new to linux and usng linux 8.0 . Please help me.

Try another nameserver, one you know that wasn't asked about your domain. It may be that the second DNS uses cache and it still has old data (it doesn't ask your DNS, just looks into cache). After some time the problem should disappear.
