Multiple NIC Problem

Im semi-new to linux, but I've been able to grasp most of the stuff involved with networking. However, this problem is really trickey and I can't seem to find an answer.

I live in a really restricted college dorm. The IT numbskulls decided to block all but the basic ports: http, ftp, ssh, etc. While this makes the internet increadibly fast, there are somethings that I want/need to do over the blocked ports: cvs, gaming, torrent I am getting DSL (halleluiah!) in a couple of days that's not quite as fast as the dorms connection. So, to make things cool, I have set up a cheap-ass linux box with three nic's to split the connection from my router (eth0) between my dsl (eth1) and my dorm connection (eth2).

Since I do not have the DSL yet, I am using the dorm connection for eth2 for testing and debugging purposes. I am also using Shorewall to simplify the iptableing (I don't think that has anything to do with it)

The problem I am getting can best be described here: https://www.linuxquestions.org/questions/showthread.php?p=2018288. The issue wasn't quite resolved and, to the best of my knowledge, my problem is different. In brief: I can ping google just fine on eth2, but cannot on eth1 unless I unplug eth2 and reboot. Then I can ping google just fine on eth1 (but not eth2 DUHH). I first noticed the problem after I went through all the shorewall config files and still couldn't get it to masqerade ports 20/21 over eth1 and ports 80 over eth2. Is there some way to specify two default gateways to the internet? Your help is greatly appreciated.

Thanks
Andrew Klofas
