sg3 LQ Newbie Registered: Jul 2003 Posts: 8 Rep:	minicom setup hi I want to login to remote system through serial port.I used null modem cable(9 pin , 2 & 3 crossed).I used minicom to establish connection to remote machine. On the remote system, agetty is running on ttyS1.But I didnt get any login prompt. I am trying to connect RH7.3 & Rh 6.1 systems. RH7.3 has agetty but not getty and Rh6.1 has getty but not agetty. I want to know how to establish connection bettween the systems. Thanks
