Angry Mandrake 9.1 + ipsec

Hi,

I have a big problem with ipsec and mandrake 9.1's kernel. I cannot load the ipsec modules. I always have a error saying that the ipsec modules was compile with gcc 2 when I have gcc 3. The thing is that I have used the modules that comes with mandrake AND I have compile one and tested it. I still cannot use the ipsec modules.

I absolutly need it to make freeswan work.

Did someone made freeswan work with mandrake 9.1. How did you manage to have a good ipsec (that can be loaded)

I've compiled many kernels in my life, so I know the basic how to...

Can someone help me, Please... my boss is going to get at me if I cannot do it :s

Thanks
Ccool

I have found the solution...

The problem is a wrong flag in the kernel compilation... A guy found it on a mandrake forum.

What you need to do is to gunzip your ipsec module, open it in binary (vi -b ipsec.o) change the gcc2_xxx to a gcc3_xxx flag and voilą... (you might want to gzip your ipsec.o file )

If it helps anyone, I'll be glad
