mac address release

Dear netters,
I need to connect to the network using SuSe Linux and need to have a constant mac address. Mine is changing after every rebooting but I need it to remain the same. What should I do?
Regards
Igor

Is it the mac address you mean or the IP address? As far as I know, MAC addresses of network cards generally don't change.
