LTSP NIC Problem

I managed to configure the DHCP and the client environment however the thin client cannot load the NIC driver, the error message was;

ipconfig: eth0: SIOCGIFINDEX: No such device
ipconfig: no devices to configure
/init: .: 1: Can't open /tmp/net-eth0.conf

Theres a thread somewhere here discussing this but i did what was being told there. It didn't work. Am I missing something here? By the way my NIC is Realtek for the client and Attansic for the server. Thanks in advance!
