login problem with cyradm
I need some help configuring a email system with postfix and cyrus-imapd. When I try to login to cyradm with "cyradm localhost" the program ask for my password and I get this error:
cyradm: cannot authenticate to server with as cyrus
I am new to this and I don't know whats happening. I am using saslauthd (cyrus default?).
These are my config files:
/etc/sysconfig/saslauthd
# Directory in which to place saslauthd's listening socket, pid file, and so
# on. This directory must already exist.
SOCKETDIR=/var/run/saslauthd
# Mechanism to use when checking passwords. Run "saslauthd -v" to get a list
# of which mechanism your installation was compiled to use.
MECH=shadow
# Additional flags to pass to saslauthd on the command line. See saslauthd(8)
# for the list of accepted flags.
FLAGS=
/etc/imapd.conf
configdirectory: /var/imap
partition-default: /var/spool/mail
defaultpartition: default
admins: cyrus root admin
srvtab: /var/imap/srvtab
allowanonymouslogin: no
servername: mail.mydomain.com
sasl_pwcheck_method: shadow
Please help me!!!
Thanks
Carlos
