linux network adaptors


network adaptor for HCL LX INFINITY PRO BL 1280 IS NOT DETECTED ON RHEL 5. PLS SUGGEST THE REMEDY

According to this:

you probably have the ReaLTEK RTL8111 Integrated Gigabit Ethernet Controller on that motherboard.

And according to this:

https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=448712

there's a bug in the driver that ships with RHEL for that network adapter(r8169). On the above link, there's a lengthy discussion of a workaround for this problem.
