Question linux dissertation

Hello all linux users!!!

I'm doing a dissertation on the subject and wonder if you would like to give me feedback on what you think about linux and why you would use it instead of Windows. If you can't help me, maybe you know where else i could turn.

Areas I'm interested is from a network environment, end user point of view, system administrator point of view and off course a corporate point of view.

Linux and applications compared to Windows platform

Thanks for your time

Nathalie

I would almost say search for the keyword "Microsoft" "terrible business practices" "licensing" "stability" "Bill" or "hate" and you will come up with quite a bit of backing for what you want exactly. One especially good posting for what you are seeking would be at: http://www.linuxquestions.org/questi...?threadid=7459

You should find several passionate views both pro- and anti-Microsoft here, several points brought up about the prox/cons of the two platforms, and more. You'll be interested to know that it is probably the longest running string in this forum ever (correct me if I'm mistaken). That should give you an idea of the interest ppl have taken in it.
