Linksys router. Active Lan client Apple??

I was just checking my router settings as youtube is constantly slow. I noticed under status that under active Lan connection there were 2 MAC's. My Dell and some thing to do with Apple.

Quote:
0-1E-C2 (hex) Apple, Inc
001EC2 (base 16) Apple, Inc

Why is this? i dont have any Mac computers or Ipod's or anything hooked up to router. What exactly is this??

Hey,
Are you running a wireless LAN? If you are running a wireless network, are you using any wireless security (such as WPA)?

Well, I doubt that someone cracked your wireless encryption... Can you disconnect the thing? I know some routers provide an option to kick devices off their networks, so I guess you could try that, and see what happens. Unfortunately I can't think of a way to figure out what the thing is and/or how someone may have connected it without permission (if that actually happened), sorry.

Well..Its not showing up on wireless. Its showing up on LAN connections. My laptop is the only thing hooked up to it with a cable. My other laptop and desktop are wireless. I just looked up status on router and its not showing right now. So not sure what it was and why its not showing up now. Its not wireless. It was showing up as a Lan connection.
