Link layer forwrding


Hi all
in my project to simulate VPN I used Packet/Raw sockets to forward packets between Two LANs using PC with two NICs it works BUT there is adelay from the Basic Linux ip_forwarding Could you please help me deal with this problem i.e to reduce forwarding time ?.
