Java script fails to load

I often visit chinese.stackexchange.com

Although I live in China, I can do this without a vpn from my laptop. However, when I use my office computer with Fedora 27, I cannot use chinese.stackexchange.com

I wonder why? The screenshot below shows the error message.

I am writing this in my office on my laptop, using Ubuntu 16.04, going through the same router. I therefore think this is some security setting in Fedora.

There are a number of things that could cause that not to load properly. For instance webbrowser addons that disable javascript (scriptsafe, noscript, etc)or adblockers. It's hard to say how your company may have setup your office computer but if they enabled the firewall that could be causing it

Searching for the error you see in the image you uploaded returns a number of results with many people saying clearing the cache of their browser solved the issue.

Speaking of, have you tried multiple browsers on the problem system?
