iptables commands


i am using fedora core 7 i am unable to execute iptables command.

please help

you need to provide a lot more information than that. i could guess that you aren't root maybe? log in as root correctly (in a console or use su - to change to root) and then you can use the iptables command...

iptables is always installed by default.

iptables command

the command still not running even if i executed as a root

i just get the feeling that all commands in /sbin aren't working.

Check whereis iptables and echo $PATH.
