Unhappy ip redirect issue

I have a proxy that seats in a dmz along with a dns server and my external web server. I did not set up the network, and when I lost my proxy's harddirve I lost the ability to get to our website from the inside our system. I tried to change the hosts file and am looking at adding a redirector to my proxy. I knopw there is another way out there I just have yet to find it.....can some one throw me a bone?

Thanks in advance.

Welcome to LQ.

Can you ping the IP address of the webserver from one of your clients?

Is the webserver still on the DMZ? What router are you using?

Can you post the output of this on hte webserver:
ifconfig
route -n
