Ip always changing in hosts images

Hi,

I've 3 hosts images installed in virtualbox, that every time I reboot an image, the ip address change.

The 3 images are ubuntu.

I would like to configure these images in a way that, every time I reboot the images, I can access them by the name, and not by the ip.

How can I do that?

you'd need to have some form of dynamic DNS, which is not going to be fun. Either the DHCP server (is it DHCP??) needs to update the DNS server, or the client needs to. That's not nice I'd be sure there is a better solution.

I solved by defining static ips in all hosts images.

Thanks anyway.
