Question ifconfig problem


how do i enable my broadcast address on my loopback driver? anybody help me pls !!!!

not sure if this is what u mean:

edit the file:

/etc/sysconfig/network-scripts/ifcfg-lo

BROADCAST=127.255.255.255

i am using red hat 7.
