Question I Cant See Anyone

I'm running Mandrake 10.1. I have 2 NICs, one connected to a switch/hub and the other connected to the internet. I 've shared the internet connection via the Control Centre and evryone is getting Internet access. The problem I have now is that I cant see anyone on the network using smb4k.
nb. All the other machines are running WIndows XP Pro SP2.
In fact, whenever I start Samba4k I cant see any work group, if I search for a machine, I get an error msg.
Can ne one help me???

Well, I suppose one of the most important questions is this: what is the error message you are receiving?

When I search for a machine, example comp1, all it says is "the search for comp1 failed"
