I can't dial up Windows 98!


I am using Redhat 7.1 and I have used all dial program to dial up Windows 98, but have't result. Please show me another program or solution.

Er, sorry? What is it you're trying to do? Are you trying to connect to a Windows box on your network? Are you trying to access the Windows files on your computer? Or are you trying to dial-out using a modem from a Linux box, and connect over a phone-line to a Windows box?

Some more information would be greatly appreciated.

The trouble is trying to connect to a Windows 98 box on your network by modem. The trouble don't occur on Window NT.

shouldn't the system u'r dialling into be capable of accepting it...?

I know that WinNT4.0 has a RAS (Remote Access Server) but I honestly don't know if Win9X has sucha beast or how to configure one.
