How to setup VPN connection

Hi,

I have as host a PCLinuxOS conected to the internet using PPPOE.

Also Vmware installed on with two separate guests, one WinXP and second a VPN server.

1. I can connect through VPN from the WinXP machine to the VPN server and browse the Internet without any problem

2. Unfortunately I can't make working the VPN connection from the host to this VM VPN server either I can ping it and the comm seems to be up and running.

I've tried to define some PPTP connection but none of work in the end.

Bellow are the ifconfig output before and after the trying.

Before try to connect to the VPN server the ifconfig is:

Bottom line this VPN connection should be done through vmnet8 interface that communicate with the VPN VM server.

Any ideas? That drive me crazy

Thanks,

-Johnny.
