how to do a stress test on a mail server?


hi,


how to do a stress test on a mail server, qmail? pls give me some pointers.

You could try "VeriTest Email Test Tool" Its available from http://www.veritest.com/benchmarks/s....asp?visitor=X

Im sure there are many others you do a search on google for stress testing mail server.
You could also mail bomb your email server and send a few legitimate emails and see if they go through and the lag time as well.
