How to configure PNP4 on nagios?

Hi,

Could someone kindly suggest me how to configure PNP4Nagios on CentOS-5.3?

Just would like to add on to this that I have already installed and configured Nagios on my CentOS-5.3 machine and have installed NRPE Plugins as well.

I am just curious to know if the NRPE pluggins are sufficient to monitor my network or should I be installing and configuring Nagvis & pnp4nagios on the same.

I am able to monitor my network via ping.

I would like to monitor couple of switches (Managed and Unmanaged) a router and a few systems.

I would like to monitor the Bandwidth usage from each system in my network and the overall bandwith.

Possibly everything that can be monitored through Nagios.

There are much better apps for monitoring bandwidth (mrtg/cacti).
nagios is better off for monitoring services/processess
