How to change the HW name eth2 to eth0?

Hi friends, lately I found that the NIC hw name is changed from eth0 to eth2 on SLES 10.2 32-bit: using cmd #ifconfig
the newwork card shown as:
eth2 XXXXX

How can I change the device name to eth0?
Appreciated for any help. Thanks.
