How To Automaticlly Mount Network Shares?
I was woondering if someone could tell me what program I should use to automaticlly mount my network shares (via SMB) when the system boots. For example, I've got several shares on Windows servers that I always use, I don't want to drop down to the command line and mount them everytime.
It's my understanding that /etc/fstab is used to mount local partitions on demand, not network shares, correct? When I boot up (Red Hat 9) I see there's a program called "Automount" and it says "No Mount Points Defined" is that the program I need to configure? Anyway, if I could get some Guru guidance I'd appreciate it, Thx.
