SuSE also comes with a frontend for rdesktop called Remote Desktop. Check your lizard menu.
To connect, use: rdp:/host_name_or_ip_here

I'm not sure what you are talking about...
I think you need to use samba.

Yes it can. For that, it needs the SMB samba client.
The server is for sharing linux files to windows clients.

That I don't know sorry. I use VNC and don't know anything about the suse remote client. But I hope you will get answers from someone else.

With rdesktop you can control a Windoze box remotely, but you cannot move files by dragging and dropping from the rdesktop window to another window on your Linux box. You will need to look at some other way to move files and there are all kinds of alternatives. Samba shares is one. FTP is another if you have a ftp server setup in Windoze. Downloading files from a web server running on Windoze. etc. Samba is what I'd suggest you use.
You'll need to have a samba client installed on your Linux box and on your Windoze box, setup shares. The samba (smb) client on your Linux box will see those shares if it is setup to belong to the same workgroup as what your Windoze box belongs to.
Cheers.
