192.168.1.0/24 is a subnet of 192.168.1.0/16. I never faced this type of things.

Use two different subnet like, 192.168.1.0/24 & 192.168.2.0/24.

Then sent me the output of "ifconfig" & "netstat -rn".

You can configure two ip addresses (ip aliasing) to the server, one from each network.
AFAIK, it is not possible to connect two different sub-net without any network device (router/bridge etc).

Hi rahilmaknojia,

Is adding another network card for the 192.168.1.0/24 network an option for you? If you can do so, the networks should be able to communicate by enabling ip-fowarding and adding a few static routes.
