How do you: change a linux machine's name to appear on a network? (Suse10)

I have a home network that is getting ever larger (5-7 machines right now) and my two WinXP machines I can see on the network via my router's scan as the computer names. But my linux machines all appear as - under device name.

Is there a way that I can change the name's of my machines so they will be named on my network?s

Right now my linux machines are all running SUSE10.

Ok, I got the first one. But /etc/sysconfig/network is a folder. Is there a file in network I need to change? Or should there be a file in /etc/sysconfig called network?
