How do I configure vpn in Redhat?

Hi,

I'm new to redhat.

How do I configure vpn in Redhat? I try the network to network vpn connection method, but fails

i tried to traceroute to the remote ip, it fail.

Is there anyting else I need to configure before I can successfully configured vpn?

There are a lot of different ways to create a vpn connection, openvpn, pptp, etc. We would need to know which method you're using as a start.

Are you attempting to setup a vpn end point or attempting to be a vpn client?

I am trying to configured a vpn client.

it stated use ipsec network to network configuration, so I use http://www.redhat.com/docs/en-US/Red...ipsec-vpn.html

as a guide for configuring vpn.

i will be configuring using pptp
