I am not sure what kind of "file sharing" you are meaning, but that is not important to your question about configuring your network card.
How are you connecting to the internet now, and what kind of network are you wanting to connect to with your NIC?
well first off i soreda did the settings and i setup yast network address setup and i set it to automatic adress setup (via dhcp) i don't know what (via dhcp) starnds for can you explain that to me please is this the right setting on automatic? or how do you have your settings?
that is not the point of my discussion the point is why can i access my network is there some thing i half to do so i can access or is there and easer why do configure my network card to so it part of the network? and what kind of of setting i should have for the network to work so i access the network?
