I need my ssh server only to accept connections from a single static IP. How to do it using hosts.allow file.
Pls advice.

Hi,

In hosts.deny : sshd: ALL
In hosts.allow : sshd: 1.2.3.4

You can also look at the sshd_config file, it has an option for (dis)allowing certain users. Maybe you can combine them.

hope this helps.
