Hi, any idea to limit customers upload and download bytes abuse wifi


I'am beginner in linux please be patient !

I offer to my customer the wifi system with proxy apache, and Where we are it's satellite antenna really expensive and some customer abuse in case watch tv, surf on net all days, and drop speed to everyone, brefly, I check with iftop and I think then it will not the job... I also check sharkwire I think and also I don't think no !

Redhat server 9, everything work but I try to find sometning to add on script to limit UDP and TCP consommation for every users

Not hack, not see login webpage and not see website then they go

Only limit usage !

Hi,

Are you really using Red Hat Linux 9 (aka RHL9)?
It is very old.
You will first need to upgrade to a more recent version.
Then if you use Red Hat Enterprise Linux, you will have to pay for it, and then be able to request and get Red Hat support.
