Question Help with Nagios 3.0

Hello experts in nagios,

I am new to nagios. I have installed successfully nagios 3.0 with CentOS 5.1.
Now I am struggling to configure basically to monitoring my network via ping (icmp) only right now but no success.

My doubts:
1.)I would to like to create categories or groups for example:
Servers DNS, Servers Web, Server Mail and Routers. Do I have to create these groups in templates.cfg located in /usr/local/nagios/etc/objects or in another file?
2.) Do I have to create separate file for eache server or only 1 file with all my servers to monitor?
3.) Can anyone post a example base nagios 3.0, a example to monitor a host with ping only?

Thanks a lot.
Anderson

This is the same question as the other post. I took the time to give you a hand and explain to you what you needed, even posted example configs for you. You never replyed to my last post, and now you are opening another post asking the same questions?
