Hi, this is my first post and i hope find help here.... :P
I'm a very niublin user of linux, i use Mandrake 8.1 With a Alcatel Speedtouch USB ADSL Modem and it's work perfect, i surf the web, do ftp and all that kicnd of stuff.
My problem is with the routing of my HOME LAN, i want to configure my Mandrake Box to route my internet traffic of the lan.
I Don't know how to do it :P i read de HOW-TO for IPCHAINS and all that stuff and that is chinise for me.. someboy please can explain mi a way to do that in a easy steps PLEASE!!!!
For one I can read Chinese so send me the how-to and I'll translate for ya.
First identify WHAT you really want to do: If you're just wanting a simple, small (up to 5 PCs) home router that lets you share files and Internet, get a cheap-o router such as D-Link, Linksys, etc. And saves you a LOT of headaches. Install in 10 mins. Eats up very little electricity. Web-based maintenance/setup.
HEHEHE thanks for your replay but, here in venezuela that kinkd of router's it's very hard to find and it's very expensive, but this niublin find the way to read chinese and my router it's working HEHEHE, the problem was two pakages thas was corrupt i rebuild the rpm database end install that pajagaes again and DONE!! my router it;s working.. hehehe..
Thx
