Question HELP ME!!! Can ping my sever box but can't access the internet


Hi. i installed debian woody 3 on my client box... my server is win 98 and the nat software is sygate....

i tried ifconfig eth0 192.168.0.2
then route add default gw 192.168.0.1

in slackware this worked fine...
but in woody i can't access the net, just ping my server box and my box...


please help me !

Did you add your DNS entries in /etc/resolv.conf ??

Also, type route and does it show you the 192.168.0.1 as your default gateway ?
