I have a public static IP address. whenever i check /var/log/messages, the following line is repeated more than hundred times. The log file is full of this message only. .......... Apr 21 17:18:19 server1 kernel: x.x.x.x sent an invalid ICMP error to a broadcast Apr 21 17:18:19 server1 kernel: x.x.x.x sent an invalid ICMP error to a broadcast Apr 21 17:18:19 server1 kernel: x.x.x.x sent an invalid ICMP error to a broadcast Apr 21 17:18:19 server1 kernel: x.x.x.x sent an invalid ICMP error to a broadcast where.......... (x.x.x.x is the ip address of the gateway). Is everything OK ?? or something wrong ?? waiting for your reply.....
