Which more than likely explains this error:
==============================
ftp: connect: Connection refused
ftp>
I checked in the GUI for the "ftp" service (i.e. the "Service Configuration" icon) but I don't see it there (??).
NOTE: I did select the "medium" security install option when I did the initial install of AS.
NOTE: telnet/scp/ssh all work fine to/from this system.
It appears that an ftp switch needs to be thrown, but I'm not sure where.
I've tried manually making an "ftp" entry in /etc/xinetd.d (borrowed from the "telnet" file in the same location & changing the telnet references where appropriate) but it only resulted in ftp hanging when I tried to connect to this box after the hostname was reported.
Right, I should have just said that I would like to be able to connect to
this RH AS system using regular ftp. Until I learned about PuTTY, I thought ftp was the only way to do it from Windows.
