HellO...
How do I setup a fully qualified domain name on my PC ...?

Apache takes my hostname
i want it hostname.something but i dont know the steps (just change hostname.net,com or whatever..???
what to read ..DNS HOWTO..???
and what if i've a server and my own connection should i buy a domain ..?
