Thumbs down Forward traffic from one subnet to another.

I have been searching the forum and wrecking my brain on this problem. I hope you all can help. Here is my network layout.

banana
eth0 192.168.2.6
255.255.255.0

grape
eth0 10.1.10.5
255.255.0.0
eth1 192.168.2.5
255.255.255.0

orange
eth0 10.1.10.4
255.255.0.0

I am trying to establish a network route from orange to banana by using grape as a gateway. I have tried static route and ssh tunnels, but there is no route from orange to banana. There is a route from orange to grape and grape to banana. Thanks in advance.

Are you running iptables on grape? You need the rules to forward traffic from banana to orange and vice versa.

Thanks for the quick reply. yes. i rule out iptables and tcp wrappers. I can get traffic flowing by using iptables/masquerade/ip forward/static routes if the grape interfaces were reversed (eth0: 192 subnet, 10 subnet). I just need some guidance. Any other advice would be appreciated.
