firewall script. DHCP?

im trying to install a IPtables configuration script thats suposed to make a good firewall, its called "arno-iptables-firewall" looks like its made for slack but probalby can be used in most systems.

ANYWAYS!!!
in the config file it asks me if i have a dynamic IP, so i say yes (1), (im on a dial up modem). then it asks me something i dont know.

><><><><><><
EXT_IF_DHCP_IP=0 # Enable if THIS machines (dynamically) obtains its IP through DHCP (from your ISP)
><><><><><><

should i enable this or keep it disabled? im not quite sure if DHCP applys to dialup connections or only to (A)DSL.

DHCP is a protocol that asks to your internet provider for ip, netmask, gateway and stuff.
so, yes, your dial up connection aquire these parameters via dhcp.
